- Cleaning the patio roof

Dear Shell,

I'm attempting to clean my patio roof. It is semi-transparent, corrugated fibreglass. I've been using Spray9 + scrub brush and steel wool. Is there a product that is stronger than Spray9 as this work is very labour intensive? Is there a product available that is semi transparent and relatively maintenance free?

Dear Fred,

Do not use steel wool on fibreglass it will etch the surface causing premature stress on the panels. Use my Shell Busey’s Home Cleaning Formula available at McDiarmids, Home Depot or Revy Stores. Mix 4 lids into 3 gallons of water. Spray on surface using garden sprayer let sit for 5 – 10 minutes (out of sun). Scrub with long handle brush and rinse.

It’s just that easy.
