  • Dear Shell,

I discovered that I hadn't done a proper job of masking some wood trim after painting a wall in my home (The latex paint dried in before the tape was removed). Is there any way I can safely remove this paint without marring or scratching the wood? The house is 9 years old and the wood trim still has the original gloss finish.

    Thanks, Lee

    Dear Lee,

If your project was done with in a week you should be able to remove with my Shell Busey’s Home Cleaning Formula and a Scotch Brite pot scrubbing pad using good hot water and the heavy duty mix. If not use Goof Off or Goo Gone available at most building and hardware stores.

    It’s just that easy.
