  • Dear Shell,

We placed a portable humidifier on our linoleum in a hallway and it appears that the glue from under the lino has come up in the spots where the rubber legs of the humidifier were. Is there anything we can do to remove the spots, or cover them up? Please help as we'd like to put our home up for sale shortly!!

    Thanks, Pino

    Dear Pino,

Sounds as though the rubber from the pads of the humidifier legs has come off staining the vinyl. Try Goof-off or Goo-Gone to remove the stain. If that doesn’t remove the stain contact End of the Roll for a vinyl repair.

    It’s just that easy.
