- Repairing a metal roof on a mobile home

Dear Shell,

What is the best method to repair a metal roof on a mobile home, which leaks along the edge? Also, I have a noise problem with the metal roof on a windy day. Should I seal off the vents on each end of the mobile home just under to roof?

Dear Anne,

To repair metal roof flashing etc. use Snow Roof Elastoseal coating with Snow Roof Fibreglass fabric cloth to bind and seal all leaking areas. Then coat over the top using Snow Roof Top Coat. The noise in your roof sounds like the roof is nailed down. I would suggest screwing with proper metal roof screws with a rubber seal. Don’t block up your vents.

It’s just that easy.
