    Dear Timmons,

    This procedure is acceptable as long as your exhaust fan motor is an inline type mounted in the roof structure leading to one common exhaust roof jack. All ducting must be insulated within the roof cavity. Note: Try to minimize the number of 90-degree elbows for every elbow will add to the overall duct length by 10 feet.
