- Removing wax from a coffee table

How can we take 25 years of wax off our coffee table with out hurting the finish?

Dear James,

Using contact cement solvent and superfine steel wool – puddle onto surface and rub with grain. Changing the steel pad often scrub until all wax is removed. Then apply Briwax available at most building supply stores or hardware stores.

It’s just that easy.
